Wed 18 September 2019,

Ahead of the evening performance, Isobel McArthur – writer and cast-member of Pride and Prejudice* (*sort of) – will be discussing this wild interpretation of Jane Austen’s infamous classic. Chaired by Sian Norris, Director of Bristol Women’s Literature Festival, Isobel explores the challenge of refreshing one of Austen’s most respected works while remaining faithful to it, empowering her iconic female protagonists, and how this reimagined tale is set to take on the nation across its upcoming UK tour.
