Robert Macfarlane takes us on a deep-time journey into the vast and hidden worlds beneath our feet. From the ice-blue depths of Greenland’s glaciers, to the underground networks by which trees communicate, from Bronze Age burial chambers to the rock art of remote Arctic sea-caves, he voyages into the planet’s past and future, transforming our thinking about the Earth in the time of the Anthropocene.
He is in conversation with Andrew Kelly, the director of the Festival of Ideas.
Purchase a signed copy of Robert Macfarlane’s new book Underland at a special advance discount of £15 (£20 at the event) at checkout. This offer is for online purchases only. Books to be collected at the event.
