Discover Economics @ the University of Bristol present Generation-COVID a webinar for 15-17 year olds exploring what Covid-19 means for the future of the economy. What will be the impact of disruption to schools? Will the way we work change forever? What will the economy look like in five or ten years’ time?

Watch the video below and send your ideas and questions for our expert panel to ashley.lait@bristol.ac.uk. Even better, record your ideas as a short video and send them to Ashley for the chance to win a £50 Amazon voucher. There will also be a live Q&A on the day.

The event will be chaired by Richard Davies, Professor of the Public Understanding of Economics at the University of Bristol and author of Extreme Economies.

The panel of expert economists are Ellen Greaves (PhD student, University of Bristol), Rupal Patel (Bank of England) and Peter Spittal (lecturer, University of Bristol).

After the webinar, there will be an opportunity to ask university staff and students questions about studying economics at university – and about applying to university.
