Familiar to many from Peep Show (with David Mitchell) and columns in the Daily Telegraph and The New Statesman, in this event the award-winning Robert Webb will entertain, shock and surprise as he shares his thoughts on masculinity and manhood, offering invaluable life lessons for us all.

Part-memoir, part call-to-arms his new book How Not to be a Boy promises to be exceptional and even game-changing. Webb considers the absurd expectations boys and men have thrust upon them at every stage of life. He looks back from his schoolboy crushes (on girls and boys) in a world of fighting, pointless posturing and the insistence that he stop crying to discovering the power of making people laugh as an adult man (in the Cambridge Footlights with Mitchell); and from losing his beloved mother to becoming a husband and father.
