Mayor's Annual Lecture and Debate 2016

This event is now fully booked but you can join the waiting list for any returned tickets.

Marvin Rees, Mayor of Bristol, took office in May 2016 wanting a city where everyone benefits from success and no-one is left behind; where life chances are not determined by wealth and background; where inequality is challenged and social mobility promoted; where the cultural offer reflects city diversity and enriches the lives of all people.

In this first annual mayor’s lecture and discussion of his term of office, he puts forward his four-year vision for the city, reports on the progress to date and the work to come. He is joined by a panel – Alexandra Jones (Centre for Cities) and Gavin Kelly (Resolution Foundation/ Living Wage Commission) – and there will be an opportunity for audience questions.

To ensure we can include as many audience questions as possible on the night, we are collecting them at time of booking.
