Sat 28-Mon 30 May 2016

2016 marks the 250th anniversary of the opening of the Bristol Old Vic. This special weekend will throw a spotlight on the past, present and future of this historic playhouse.

The activities showcase professional and community artists from across the city and celebrate Bristol’s extraordinary creativity. Bristol Old Vic’s beautiful auditorium will be thrown open to the community and a special anniversary gala featuring a host of famous names will be staged to mark this hugely important milestone in British theatre history.

With the exception of the 250th Birthday Gala, events are free. Some require booking in advance or on the day (booking fees may apply).

Full details of the programme are on the Bristol Old Vic website.
