To accompany the launch of the Bristol Whales project – an Arts Council England Exceptional Project – running in Bristol Harbourside 17 July-1 September 2015, Artists Project Earth (APE)  is organising a series of events focusing on the beauty and fragility of ocean life. APE wants to encourage people to become part of the solution, recognising that the fate of the oceans and that of humanity are intimately linked.

This event will feature:
APE songs and videos from APE’s forthcoming album ‘Oceans
Sue Lipscombe, Codsteaks, presenting the film about the making of the Bristol Whales
Doug Allan, award-winning BBC underwater cameraman, presenting some of his footage
Adam White, award-winning producer of Big Blue Live, showing BBC film sequences
Jo Ruxton, producer of The Cry of the Whale feature film
And an extract from The Acid Test, a film narrated by Sigourney Weaver
