RSS feeds
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication or Rich Site Summary. You can subscribe to four different RSS feeds from our website, enabling you to receive automatic updates about our latest comments, events, ideas and news as soon as the website is updated. You can view the content of these feeds using specialist news readers or aggregators, either on your desktop or online, which allow feeds to be viewed from multiple sources.
To subscribe to our RSS feeds, please follow these three easy steps:
Step one
Download or sign up to a news reader service. Click here to download Feedreader 3, a free RSS aggregator, or sign up to Google Reader here. Alternatively, click here to search Yahoo’s directory of other RSS readers and aggregators.
Step two
Click on the RSS feed of your choice (below). Copy the URL address from your browser window and use this address to view the feed with your chosen reader. Repeat this process until you have subscribed to all of the feeds you require.
Step three
Your RSS feed reader should now automatically update you with your chosen Bristol Festival of Ideas feed/s.
