Bristol Festival of Ideas Book Prize 2010 - shortlist announced!

Bristol Festival of Ideas today announces the shortlist longlist for its 2010 Book Prize. The annual prize, worth £10,000, will this year be awarded in association with Arts & Business to the book which presents new, important and challenging ideas, which is rigorously argued, and which is engaging and accessible.

Over 130 books were submitted for the award, of which the following six have been selected for the shortlist:

Shortlist giveaway!
We have five free copies of each of the shortlisted books to give away to Bristol Festival of Ideas fans in exchange for your reviews which we will post on the website. If you would be interested in reviewing one of the books, please email us at: ideas@gwebusinesswest.co.uk with the name of the book you’d like to review and a postal address. Books will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis.

Awards Ceremony
The winner of the Bristol Festival of Ideas Book Prize 2010 will be announced live at a special Book Prize Awards Ceremony as part of our May Festival. Watch the website for more updates.
