River Cottage Everyday |
Putting food on the table for the family quickly and economically doesn’t mean compromising quality. Celebrated chef and food campaigner Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall wants to tempt us towards a better life with food with a set of irresistible recipes that are seasonal and ethical. Following on from the success of The River Cottage Cookbook, The River Cottage Meat Book and The River Cottage Fish Book, Fearnley-Whittingstall’s latest offerings in River Cottage Everyday are the most accessible, recipe-led River Cottage meals yet. He talks about his approach to food, his new recipes, and about his food campaigns which have seen him take on intensive farming and Tesco in recent months.
This event is presented in association with Arnolfini and 100 Days, a major season of events (29 August-6 December 2009) marking the Countdown to the Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen (COP 15) in December. Contact Arnolfini, Bristol for more details.
