 The Aardman/Tate Project

The Aardman/Tate Project
4 December 2011, 15.00-16.00 (PAST EVENT)
Arnolfini Dark Studio, Bristol (see map)

Event

27,000 children took part in Aardman’s The Tate Movie Project plotting, scripting and drawing the half-hour animation The Itch of The Golden Nit, a colourful and surreal adventure making it the largest “crowd-sourced” animation ever. Director Sarah Cox talks about the project from initial idea to finished film.

Part of our second season of Bristol Genius, 1-4 December 2011, Arnolfini and Watershed, Bristol

Bristol is a city of great ideas, historically and now. Bristol Genius looks at the people and organisations working on breakthrough ideas in the city – ones that have the potential to change how we think, live, work, eat, play; that provide new business opportunities; and that can transform the environment, justice and society. These events are free but need to be booked.
